Met Jack early in my career while working on one of the numerous psychiatric units inside FMC Devens. I was the officer and he was the unit nurse. I learned a lot from Jack. He truly cared about staff safety and was always a phone call away for advice once he became nurse manager. I moved to Haverhill on Jack’s advice. Still here raising a family. “Jack Davis,” (yes full name) as my children called him would always stop by and check in on us. We carpooled from Haverhill to the prison whenever we were on the same shift. Always a fun ride to and from talking about family, current events and definitely politics. Honored I got to visit with him in the hospital the afternoon before he passed. Heaven gained a great guy, nurse, friend, husband, father and grandfather. I still cannot believe you are gone. I keep tagging you with Trump memes and have to catch myself and take your name off the text stream.
RIP bud. Until we meet again.

    To Pat, Michael and family,
I’m so sorry for your sudden loss. I will be out of town for his service but retain memories of his spirit and lust for life. May he rest in peace and you find comfort in the love he has left behind.
    With love and sympathy,
    Wanda
